The Mission of St John the Beloved

Ancient liturgy and Spirit-led worship, rooted in Edinburgh. A charismatic community open to all who seek encounter with God.

/ A Mission Community

Liturgy alive in Scotland

St John the Beloved is a growing mission of mainly Philipino diaspora, but open to all people, and shaped by the rhythm of the Church year, healing prayer, and the full sacramental life of evagelical catholic worship — all of it open to the Holy Spirit.

All our services are ordered by the liturgy, derived from Holy Scripture and tradition, and holding to the teaching of the Historic Creeds. We also lift our hands in expectant prayer and praise.
